Gur ends flat in limited deals

Quiet conditions persisted at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today as prices moved in a tight range in the absence of any worthwhile activity and closed at previous levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar mandis also depicted a similar trend.
Marketmen said ample stocks position against limited deals mainly kept gur prices unchanged.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,900-3,000, dhayya Rs 3,000-3,100 and shakkar Rs 3,300-3,400.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,250-2,300, chakku Rs 2,450- 2,750, khurpa Rs 2,400-2,500 and Ladoo Rs 2,800-2,850.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,600-2650 and dhayya Rs 2,700-2,750.
