On the other hand, Muzaffarnagar gur market showed a weak trend with prices falling up to Rs 150 per quintal on sluggish demand.
Marketmen said absence of buying support, triggered by persistent supplies from manufacturing belts, mainly pulled down gur prices in Muzaffarnagar.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur Chakku and Khurpa looked down from Rs 2,400-2,650 and Rs 2,350-2,400 to end at Rs 2,300-2,500 and Rs 2,200-2,350, while gur Laddoo asked lower at Rs 2,450-2,600 instead of Rs 2,550-2,650 per quintal.
