On the other hand, Muzaffarnagar markets, gur showed a drop of Rs 50 per quintal in its prices on fresh supplies amid weak demand.
Marketmen said fresh arrivals from manufacturing belt amid sluggish demand from stockists and retailers mainly led to fall in gur prices at Muzaffarnagar.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur Chakku and Laddoo prices fell by Rs 50 each to settle at Rs 2,500-2,900 and Rs 2,800-2,850 per quintal.
Gur Raskat prices also moved down by Rs 50 to finish at Rs 2,400-2,450 per quintal due to a drop in demand for beer makers.
