Gur prices settled steady at the wholesale market in the national capital today following scattered demand amid adequate stocks.
On the other hand, Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets showed a weak trend with prices falling up to Rs 150 per quintal owing to withdrawal of support amid fresh supplies from manufacturing belts.
Marketmen said increased arrivals from manufacturing areas along with slackness in demand from stockist and retailers, mainly pulled down gur prices in Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur Laddoo dropped the most by Rs 150 to end at Rs 2,750-2,825 per quintal.
