In Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar, however, prices spurted by Rs 150 per quintal on faltered arrivals.
Marketmen said fall in arrivals from manufacturing belts bolstered the gur prices particularly in Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur chakku and Khurpa prices shot up by Rs 150 each to finish the day at Rs 3,750-3,850 and Rs 3,400-3,450, while Laddoo prices advanced by Rs 100 to Rs 3,750-3,800 per quintal.
