Gur ends quiet on little doings

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market settled a steady note in the national capital today following small buying support amidst adequate stocks position.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also finished quiet in the absence of any worthwhile activity.
Marketmen said restricted arrivals against sporadic demand mainly kept gur prices on last levels.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,800-2,900, dhayya Rs 3,000-3,100 and shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,650-2,700, chakku Rs 2,525-2,800, khurpa Rs 2,450-2,525 and Ladoo Rs 2,650-2,750.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,500-2,550 and dhayya Rs 2,550-2,575.
