Gur ends stable on small buying

Gur prices remained steady at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today in the absence of worthwhile activity against ample stocks position.
Muzaffarnagar and Murdnagar gur markets also ended at previous levels on scattered enquiries.
Marketmen said small buying support helped gur prices to close at previous levels.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku 2,450-2,550, pedi 2,550-2,650, dhayya 2,700-2,800 and shakkar 2,900-3,000.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,100-2,200, chakku 2,200-2,450, khurpa 2,100-2,150 and Ladoo 2,250-2,350.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,200-2,250 and dhayya 2,300-2,350.
