Gur ends steady

There was not much activity at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today with prices moving in a limited range in scattered deals, pegged at last levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets too depicted a similar trend.
Traders said sufficient stocks against restricted buying activity from local parties and stockists kept prices steady.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,700-2,800, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 2,900-3,000.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,350-2,400, chakku Rs 2,450-2,550, khurpa Rs 2,350-2,400 and Ladoo Rs 2,450-2,500.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,350-2,400 and dhayya Rs 2,450-2,500.
