Marketmen said besides reduced offtake by local parties and stockists, adequate stocks position on increased supplies from producing areas mainly pulled down gur prices.
At Delhi, gur chakku and pedi declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 2,400-2,500 and Rs 2,500-2,600 per quintal, respectively.
Shakkar also fell by Rs 100 to Rs 2,800-2,900 per quintal.
In Muzzafarnagar, gur chakku, khurpa and laddo eased to 2,175-2,350,Rs 2,050-2,100 and Rs 2,200-2,250 against last close of Rs 2,200-2,450,Rs 2,100-2,150 and Rs 2,250-2,350 per quintal, respectively.
