Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets too depicted a weak trend and prices fell up to Rs 250 per quintal.
According to marketmen, rising stocks following arrivals of new gur stocks, mainly led to the fall in gur prices.
In national capital, gur Chakku, Pedi, Dhayya and Shakkar prices slipped Rs 100 each to end at Rs 2,600-2,700, Rs 2,700-2,800, Rs 2,900-3,000 and Rs 3,000-3,100 per quintal, respectively.
At Muradnagar, gur Dhayya and Pedi prices plunged up to Rs 200 each to conclude at Rs 2,400-2,500 and Rs 2,350-2,400 per quintal.

Raskat prices also fell Rs 50 to finish at Rs 2,300-2,350 per quintal on slackness in demand from beer makers.

Gur chakku Rs 2,600-2,700, pedi Rs 2,700-2,800, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 3,000-3,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,300-2,350, chakku Rs 2,450-2,650, khurpa Rs 2,300-2,400 and Ladoo Rs 2,500-2,600.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,350-2,400 and dhayya Rs 2,400-2,500.
