Gur market ends steady in thin trade

There was no change in the pattern of trading at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital as prices settled at previous levels in the absence of any worthwhile activity.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also ended steady on little doing.
Marketmen said scattered demand against restricted arrivals, mainly kept gur prices unaltered.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,850-2,950, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 3,000-3,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,650-2,700, chakku Rs 2,350-2,500, khurpa Rs N.T. And Ladoo Rs N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,600-2,650 and dhayya Rs NT.
