Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets ended steady on scattered buying activity.
Marketmen said paucity of stocks following negligible arrivals from manufacturing belts, mainly pushed up in gur pedi prices.
In Delhi, gur Pedi prices improved by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 3,900-4,000 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,600-3,700, pedi Rs 3,900-4000, dhayya Rs 3,900-4,000 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,800-2,850, chakku Rs 3,300-3,400, khurpa Rs 2,925-2,950 and Ladoo Rs 3,000-3,050.
