A similar trend depicted in Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets, where prices dipped by up to Rs 200 per quintal.
Marketmen said reports of production has been been in full swing and persistent arrivals from manufacturing belts led to a decline in gur prices.
In Delhi, gur pedi prices slided from Rs 3,300-3,500 to finish at Rs 3,300-3,400, while chakku prices traded lower at Rs 3,300-3,400 instead of Rs 3,350-3,450 per quintal.
Gur khurpa also enquired lower by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 2,800-2,850 per quintal.

Coming to Muradnagar, gur pedi settled lower by Rs 100 to Rs 2,850-2,900 while dhayya lost Rs 50 at Rs 2,950-3,000 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,300-3,400, pedi Rs 3,300-3,400, dhayya Rs 3,500-3,600 and shakkar Rs 3,600-3,700.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,850-2,900 and dhayya Rs 2,950-3,000.
