Gur price softens on weak demand, regular supply

Gur prices eased by Rs 50 per quintal in the national capital today following slackness in demand amid increased supply.
Prices of gur pedi in Muradnagar also softened marginally by Rs 20 per quintal on ample supply.
Marketmen said weak demand from stockists and retailers amid regular supply from manufacturing areas mainly pulled down gur prices.
In Delhi, gur Chakku prices declined by Rs 50 to conclude at Rs 2700-2800 per quintal.
Gur Pedi also moved down by Rs 50 to finish at Rs 2800-2900 per quintal.
At Muradnagar gur pedi prices eased from Rs 2500-2570 to end at Rs 2500-2550 per quintal.
