Gur prices close quiet on some support

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market ended on a flat note in the national capital today following sporadic buying support amid adequate stocks.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a steady trend and prices settled flat at their previous levels.
Marketmen said scattered buying support along with reduced arrivals mainly kept gur prices unaltered.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,500-3,600, pedi Rs 3,600-3,700, dhayya Rs 3,700-3,800 and shakkar Rs 3,900-4,000.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,650-2,700, chakku Rs 3,000- 3,300, khurpa Rs 3,000-3,050 and Ladoo Rs 3,200-3,300.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,150-3,250 and dhayya Rs 3,300- 3,350.
