Gur prices decline in Delhi, Muzaffarnagar

Shakkar prices dropped by Rs 100 per quintal at the gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today following fresh arrivals amid reduced offtake.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also remained weak on increased supplies from manufacturing areas against limited buying, registered losses up to Rs 100 per quintal.
Marketmen said fresh arrivals from manufacturing areas along with restricted buying interest, mainly pulled down price.
In Delhi, Shakkar prices slipped by Rs 100 to finish at Rs 3,100-3,200 per quintal.
At Muzaffarnagar, gur Laddoo lost Rs 100 at Rs 2,400-2,600, while Chakku enquired lower at Rs 2,300-2,600 instead of Rs 2,350-2,600 per quintal.
Coming to Muradnagar, there also prices of Pedi and dhayya surrendered Rs 100 each to end at Rs 2,400-2,500 and Rs 2,500-2,550 per quintal.
