On the other hand, Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets showed a weak trend with prices falling by Rs 50 per quintal on adeequate stocks amid muted demand.
Marketmen said mounting stocks on higher supplies from manufacturing belts amid small buying support, led to a fall in gur prices at Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar markets.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur Chakku prices declined by Rs 50 to end the day at Rs 2,450-2,650 per quintal.
