Gur prices end quiet on adequate stocks

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market settled steady in the national capital today following adequate stocks position against muted demand.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also pegged at last levels on little doing.
Marketmen said absence of any worthwhile activity amid fresh supplies from manufacturing belts, kept prices unchanged.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,400-3,500, pedi Rs 3,500-3,600, dhayya Rs 3,600-3,700 and shakkar Rs 3,900-4,000.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,650-2,700, chakku Rs 3,000-3,300, khurpa Rs 3,000-3,050 and Ladoo Rs 3,200-3,300.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,150-3,250 and dhayya Rs 3,300-3,350.
