Gur prices end steady in Delhi, down in Muzaffarnagar

The wholesale gur (Jaggery) market remained steady in the national capital today following sporadic demand amid restricted arrivals.
On the other hand, Muzaffarnagar gur market prices fell by up to Rs 100 per quintal on fresh supplies from manufacturing belts amid limited offtake.
Marketmen said fresh arrivals from manufacturing belts and selective offtake mainly weighed on gur prices at Muzaffarnagar market.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur Khurpa prices dropped by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 2,600-2,650 per quintal.
Meanwhile, gur Chakku and Laddoo prices quoted lower at Rs 2,750-2,950 and Rs 2,900-2,950 instead of Rs 2,750-3,000 and Rs 2,900-3,050 per quintal.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,500-2,600, chakku Rs 2,750-2,950, khurpa Rs 2,600-2,650 and Ladoo Rs 2,900-2,950.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,750-2,800 and dhayya Rs 2,850-2,900.
