Gur prices end unchanged on little doing

Gur (Jaggery) prices closed quiet at the wholesale market in the national capital today on thin demand against restricted supply.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a steady trend in thin trade.
Marketmen said besides muted demand due to offseason, negligible arrivals from manufacturing belts mainly kept gur prices at the previous levels.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,600-3,700, pedi Rs 3,600-3,700, dhayya Rs 3,800-3,900 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,650-2,700, chakku Rs 3,000- 3,375, khurpa Rs 2,900-2,950 and Ladoo Rs 3,125-3,200.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,175-3,300 and dhayya Rs 3,350- 3,400.
