The wholesale gur (jaggery) market showed a steady trend in the national capital today with prices ending on the same level by and large after hovering both ways on alternate bouts of buying and selling.
A similar trend was also depicted in Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets on selective buying.
Marketmen said adequate stocks in the market against scattered buying largely kept prices on the last levels.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,900-3,000, pedi Rs 3,100-3,200, dhayya Rs 3,300-3,400 and shakkar Rs 3,400-3,500.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,600-2,650, chakku Rs 2,600-2,850, khurpa Rs 2,550-2,650 and Ladoo Rs 2,850-3,000.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,750-2,800 and dhayya Rs 2,900-2,950.
