Gur prices remain steady on small buying

In restricted activity, gur prices after moving in a tight range on scattered deals, closed flat at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today.
Muzaffarnagar, gur markets also depicted a steady trend in thin trading.
Marketmen said scattered buying support against ample stocks mainly kept gur prices unaltered in delhi, Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,800-2,900, dhayya Rs 3,000-3,100 and shakkar Rs 3,000-3,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,500-2,600, chakku Rs 2,350-2,500, khurpa Rs N.T. And Ladoo Rs N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,500-2,550 and dhayya Rs N.T.
