Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also showed a similar trend and prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal.
Marketmen said increased buying by stockists and retailers along with negligible arrivals from manufacturing belts mainly pushed up gur prices.
A rally in sugar prices, which soared to three-year highs, too supported the upside in gur prices, they added.
In Delhi, gur pedi and shakkar climbed up by Rs 100 each to settle at Rs 4,100-4,200 and Rs 4,300-4,400 per quintal.
