Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also recorded a huge rise of Rs 250 per quintal on paucity of stocks amid robust demand.
Marketmen said speculative buying by stockists and retailers, driven by reports of lower cane-production estimate, mainly brought the sharp upsurge in gur prices.
In Delhi, gur Pedi and Dhayya prices traded higher by Rs 200 each at Rs 3,200-3,300 and Rs 3,400-3,500 per quintal.
Prices of gur Chakku and Shakkar also followed suit and gained Rs 100 each to end at Rs 3,200-3,300 and Rs 3,500-3,600 per quintal.

Gur Khurpa prices rallied by Rs 200 to finish at Rs 2,700-2,750, while Chakku advanced by Rs 100 to Rs 2,800-3,000 per quintal.
Gur Raskat prices also registered a gain of Rs 50 to Rs 2,550-2,600 per quintal on strong demand from beer makers.
Coming to Muradnagar, gur pedi prices flared up by Rs 250 to settle at Rs 2,875-2,950, while Dhayya prices hardened by Rs 200 to Rs 2,950-3,000 per quintal.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,550-2,600, chakku Rs 2,800-3,000, khurpa Rs 2,700-2,750 and Ladoo Rs 2,925-3,000.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,875-2,950 and dhayya Rs 2,950-3,000.
