Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also notched up gains of up to Rs 250 per quintal.
Marketmen said lower production due to less availability as sugar-cane and diversion of supplies to sugar mills at higher levels mainly attributed rise in gur prices.
Besides, brisk buying by stockists and retailers, too supported the upside, they added.
In Delhi, gur Dhayya and Shakkar prices climbed up by Rs 200 each to finish at Rs 3,300-3,400 and Rs 3,400-3,500 per quintal.

At Muzaffarnagar, gur Chakku and Laddoo prices improved the most by up to Rs 250 each at Rs 2,75-2,950 and Rs 2,950-3,050 from Rs 2,625-2,700 and Rs 2,750-2,800 per quintal.
Gur Khrupa prices were also higher by Rs 150 to trade at Rs 2,700-2,750 per quintal.
In Muradnagar, prices of gur Pedi and Dhayya shot up from Rs 2,750-2,825 and Rs 2,800-2,825 to Rs 2,850-2,950 and Rs 2,900-2,950, showing a rise of up to Rs 125 per quintal.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,500-2,550, chakku Rs 2,750-2,950, khurpa Rs 2,700-2,750 and Ladoo Rs 2,950-3,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,850-2,950 and dhayya Rs 2,900-2,950.
