Gur raskat up in Muzaffarnagar on industrial demand

Gur prices ended steady in the wholesale gur (jaggery) market today due to thin trade but gur raskat prices in Muzaffarnagar, rose by Rs 25 per quintal on fresh buying support from beer makers.
Marketmen said restricted supplies and pick up in demand from beer makers mainly pushed up gur raskat prices.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur raskat moved up by Rs.25 to finish at Rs.3,000-3,025 per quintal.
Following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,400-3,500, pedi 3,500-3,600, dhayya N.A. And shakkar 3,700-3,800.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 3,000-3,025, chakku 2,950-3,200, khurpa N.A. And Ladoo N.A.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3,150-3,200 and dhayya N.A.
