Gur remains muted in thin trade

Dull conditions persisted at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today with prices after moving in a tight range in listless trade due to off-season, ending same at overnight levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets too settled unchanged in thin trade.
Marketmen said muted demand and thin supplies kept the gur prices unmoved.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,500-3,600, pedi Rs 3,700-3,800, dhayya Rs 3,800-3,900 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,575-2,625, chakku Rs 3,100- 3,200, khurpa Rs N.Q. And Ladoo Rs 3,250-3,300.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,350-3,400 and dhayya Rs 3,400- 3,450.
