Gur remains steady on small buying

Quiet conditions persisted in the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market at national capital today as prices after moving in a narrow range on some support, closed at last levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a steady trend in thin trade.
Marketmen said restricted supplies due to rising mercury alwong with negligible demand, mainly kept prices unchanged.
Following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,300-3,400, pedi 3,300-3,400, dhayya 3,500- 3,600 and shakkar 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,600-2,650, chakku 2,750-3,100, khurpa 2,900-2,950 and Ladoo 3,000-3,125.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,950-3,000 and dhayya 3,050-3,100.
