Firm conditions prevailed at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today as select gur prices edged up on uptick in demand from local parties and stockists.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also showed a similar trend.
Marketmen said pick up in demand from local parties and stockists amid restricted arrivals from producing regions mainly led to rise in select gur prices.
They said firming trend in sugar prices also aided the sentiment in gur.
