Gur slips in Delhi on low demand, up in Muzzafarnagar

Gur prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale jaggery market in the national capital today owing to slackened local demand.
On the other hand, gur prices in Muzzafarnagar moved up on fresh buying support from stockists.
Marketmen said easing local demand against adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing regions mainly kept pressure on the gur prices at Delhi.
Gur chakku, pedi and shakkar prices were trading down by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,600-3,700, Rs 3,800-3,900 and Rs 4,000- 4,100 per quintal, respectively.
However, gur chakku and laddoo in Muzzfarnagar, quoted higher at Rs 3,175-3,275 and Rs 3,400-3,450 instead of Rs 3,150-3,250 and Rs 3,350-3,400 per quintal, respectively.

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,550-3,600 and dhayya Rs 3,600- 3,650.
