Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also recorded a sharp rise up to Rs 450 per quintal.
Marketmen said increased buying activity driven by winter season demand coupled with thin supplies following fall in production due to bad weather conditions mainly attributed rise in prices.
In Delhi, gur Pedi prices shot up from Rs 2,450-2,550 to Rs 2,850-2,900 per quintal.
Gur Dhayya and Shakkar prices also jumped by Rs 300 each to Rs 2,900-3,000 and Rs 3,000-3,100 per quintal.

In Muzaffarnagar, Khurpa prices enquired higher from Rs 2,125-2,200 to Rs 2,300-2,400 per quintal.
Prices of Chakku and Ladoo also traded higher at Rs 2,350-2,550 and Rs 2,450-2,650 instead of Rs 2,250-2,450 and Rs 2,375-2,525 per quintal.

Gur chakku Rs 2,500-2,600, pedi Rs 2,850-2,900, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 3,000-3,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,200-2,250, chakku Rs 2,350-2,550, khurpa Rs 2,300-2,400 and Ladoo Rs 2,450-2,650.
