Gur steady in Delhi, decline in Muzaffarnagar, Muradnagar

Gur (jaggery) prices ended steady at the wholesale market in the natinal capital today with prices after moving either side on bouts of buying and selling, settled at overnight levels.
On the contrary, Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets showed a fall up to Rs 100 per quintal on limited offtake amid ample stocks.
Marketmen said huge stocks position of ready stocks in the market on constant supplies from manufacturing belts amid neglilgible buying by stockists0 and retailers, attributed fall in in gur prices at Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur Raskat prices dropped by Rs 100 to settle the day at Rs 2,200-2,300 per quintal on withdrawal of support by beer makers.
At Muradnagar, gur Pedi prices lost from Rs 2,600-2,700 to end at Rs 2,550-2,600, while dhayya prices slipped by Rs 50 to end at Rs 2,650-2,700 per quintal.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,200-2,300, chakku Rs 2,500- 2,700, khurpa Rs 2,500-2,600 and Ladoo Rs 2,700- 2,800.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,550-2,600 and dhayya Rs 2,650- 2,700.
