Gursimar, who held a share of the lead after the first day, is now the sole leader at 2-over 142 after 36 holes.
Chasing Gursimar is overnight co-leader Neha Tripathi, who carded 2-over 72. With an identical score yesterday, she is now at 4-over 144. Two shots behind Neha is Sharmila Nicollet (72) in sole third place at 6-over 146.
Close on Sharmila's heels are Tvesa Malik (72) and Smriti Mehra (74) at Tied-4th at 147. One shot behind them in sixth place is Amandeep Drall (70), the only other player to shoot even par apart from Gursimar.
The two bogeyed the fourth hole and Gursimar once again caught up with Neha with a birdie on the par-3 sixth. They were tied together in the top spot at the turn.

On the back nine, Gursimar was steadier with just one bogey on 11th, while Neha bogeyed three times on 10th, 12th and 13th. Gursimar closed with a hat-trick of birdies while Neha birdied 16th and 18th.
Sharmila had another up-and-down day. She birdied the first and third as against doubles on both on the first day. She however dropped a bogey on second.
On the back nine, she had four birdies including one on the 18th, the closing hole. Her other birdies came on 11th, 14th and 15th while she dropped shots on 13th and 16th.
Tvesa Malik opened with a bogey and closed with a birdie and in between she bogeyed ninth and 11th in her card of 72.
Gaurika Bishnoi, winner of the Hero WPGT Order of Merit in 2017, shot a second successive 75 and was placed seventh at 150, while Siddhi Kapoor improved her position with a second round 73 as compared to her first round 78 and is now eighth at 151.
Saaniya Sharma (75) and Tavleen Batra (77) are Tied-9th at 153.
On the final day, Gursimar will go out in the final group alongside Neha Tripathi and Sharmila Nicollet, while the group ahead of them will have Tvesa Mailk, Smriti Mehra and Amandeep Drall.
Saaniya Sharma, Gaurika Bishnoi and Siddhi Kapoor will tee off in Group 5 ahead of Ayesha, Trisha and Tavleen in Group 4. Sonam Chugh, Afshan Fatima and Suchitra Ramesh are in Group 3, while the first two two-ball pairings will see Hita Prakash with Anisha Padukone, followed by Mehar Atwal with Millie Saroha.
