Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today advised the State Vigilance Organisation to launch a vigorous campaign for bringing the erring government officials to book, taking up the cases of higher level functionaries first.
The Governor also asked the Director Vigilance to send him a monthly progress report.
He made these observations during a meeting with Director Vigilance S J M Gillani, who called on him here, an official spokesman said after the meeting.
"Governor advised Gillani to prioritise the finalisation of pending enquiries and launch a vigorous campaign for the offenders to be brought to book, the cases of higher level functionaries being taken up among the first lot," the spokesman said
