Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today flagged off relief materials meant for the victims of the recent floods in Kashmir Valley.
The materials, including around two lakh pieces of blankets, jerseys and some utility items, have been collected by Dainik Bhaskar Group from all over India, an official spokesman said.
The Governor said such philanthropic initiatives contribute significantly towards integrating the nation and strengthening ties between the communities.
He urged that the relief materials should get into the hands of those who are in need of help.
