Goa Governor Mridula Sinha Sunday said she missed Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, currently admitted in the AIIMS in Delhi, as she launched the Prime Minister Jan Aarogya Yojana- Ayushman Bharat at a function here.
Pointing to a poster of the scheme on the dais, with a picture of Parrikar on it and the slogan "Swasthya Aapka, Saath Hamara" alongside, Sinha said that she wished the Goa CM a speedy recovery.
"We are with him in his process of recovery and we are praying for him. I bless him "ayushman bhava" (a long life)," she told the gathering.
Parrikar is currently being treated for a pancreatic ailment in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi.
Among those who attended the function were state Public Works Department Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, Goa Agriculture Minister Vijai Sardesai, state Health Minister Vishwajit Rane and Member of Parliament (South Goa) Narendra Sawaikar.
The PMJAY-Ayushman Bharat was rolled out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a function Sunday in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

Across India, PMJAY will give 10.74 crore families, or about 50 crore beneficiaries, yearly cover of up to Rs 5 lakh per family for secondary and tertiary care hospitalisation for some 1350 ailments in 13,000 hospitals empanelled under the scheme.
In Goa, the scheme will benefit 36,500 families.
Lauding Modi for the healthcare scheme, Sinha said. "I'm blessing PM Modi. He calls me "didi" and whenever I meet him I tell him ayushman bhava."
