Guwahati, Goa freight dip on excess trucks position

Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section to Guwhati and Goa dropped by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following excess position of trucks against restricted cargo movements.
Transporters said easy availability of trucks as compared to restricted cargo movements mainly led to decline in Goa and Guwahati freight rates.
Delhi to Goa and Guwahati freight rates moved down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 49,000 and Rs 52,000.
Elsewhere, other centres freight rates ruled flat on small support.
