The 48-year-old "Iron Man 3" actor and the 39-year-old "Game of Thrones" actress took to Twitter to make the announcement.
"A cute little package arrived and told us his name's Monte Pearce," Pearce wrote.
"We think we're gonna keep him. Placenta smoothie anyone? @caricevhouten." Carice wrote.
The news of the couple expecting their first child came in March.
In mid-July, Carice stood in front of a mirror and snapped a picture of her growing baby bump. "Almost don't fit the mirror anymore," the actress told her Twitter followers.
