The 42-year-old, who raises sons Kingston, six, and Zuma, four, with husband Gavin Rossdale, said it was hard to balance the needs of her kids and the band's reunion but she kept at it because she wanted it to work so badly, reported Femalefirst.
"We were only able to get together three days a week and, because I had the kids, there was only a limited amount of time. I was exhausted by the time I got there, so it was a struggle trying to weigh and balance everything out with the kids. But it was that fight that made the record so great," she said.
