Actor Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle company, Goop, is planning to venture into the European markets with USD 50 million as the venture capital.
The Series C round funding included participation from both new and existing investors, including NEA, Fidelity Management and Research Co, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Felix Capital.
The valuation of the company, which employs 150 people, now stands at the USD 250 million, reported Variety.
Last year in December, the company started shipping to Canada and hopes to expand its clientele in Europe by this autumn.
Goop also wants to take the concept of experiential retail to overseas markets.
