Dipa was felicitated in a ceremony in Agartala last week and presented with a cheque of Rs five Lakh in appreciation of her efforts in bringing glory to the nation in gymnastics, an OIL release said today.
OIL Director (Human Resource) N K Bharali congratulated Dipa for bringing laurels to the nation and appreciated Tripura Government for nurturing a talent like her, an icon among her generation.
Bharali said OIL's initiative to felicitate Karmakar reflected the company's commitment towards encouraging sports and to inspire the upcoming sportspersons.
