'Hack for India in Kozhikode on Oct 21-22

Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), which has launched Mobile10X programme to make the country a global app superpower, will collaborate with Google and Kerala Startup Mission to launch Kozhikode edition of Hack for India on October 21 and 22.
The IAMAI-Mobile10X Hackathon is a free event and open to all app enthusiasts.
Anyone who has the zeal to develop an app for India can participate, a release said here today.
'The event, to be held at Government, Cyberpark, Kozhikode, has been conceived as part of a learning process and also motivate the participants with exciting prizes, Dr Saji Gopinath, CEO, Kerala Startup Mission said.

Apps have to be primarily focused on sectors like public service, gaming, utility, interaction, education, healthcare, commerce, travel etc, release said.
