Handloom silk weavers stage demo

: The AITUC wing in Handloom silk weavers staged a demonstration here today in support of their 12 point charter of demands.
They staged the demonstration before the Handloom Assistant Director's office.
The demonstrators were led by G Manimurthy, AITUC district secretary handloom division.
The weavers' demands include implementation of agreement arrived before Revenue Divisional Officer, reduction in price of raw silk and other raw materials and waiver of loans given to sick weavers.
