Clean energy company Hanergy Holding Group today announced that its subsidiary has inked an agreement with Bluecar, an arm of France's Bollore Group to make solar electric vehicles.
Under the pact, the two parties - Donghan New Energy Automotive Technology Co and Bluecar - will discuss the possibilities of collaboration in designing, manufacture and producing solar electric vehicles, a company statement said.
Hanergy maintains four world records in the field of thin film solar energy, covering two mainstream technical routes of copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) and gallium arsenide (GaAs), and has applied for more than 5,000 patents for thin film solar energy, it said.
Bollore Group is principally engaged in the development, production and operation of electric vehicles in Europe, Singapore and the US.
