Har: Govt mulling to 'deliver' pensions at home

The Haryana government is mulling to bring a scheme under which old-age and 'divyang' pensions will be "delivered" to beneficiaries at their door- step.
The pensions will be brought under the ambit of the Right to Service Act, an official spokesman said here today.
"A scheme will be prepared to provide this service as some of the beneficiaries want the old-age and divyang pensions to be delivered at home," he said.
He said to ensure that new applicants for the pensions do not face any difficulty in getting themselves enrolled, the process will be included as a service under the Act.

"Efforts will be made to make these services available online," he said.
