Har govt sets up Directorate of Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare

The Haryana government has set up the Directorate of Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare and renamed its district offices and the posts.
The directorate would comprise erstwhile branches of Rajya Sainik Board, a spokesperson of the Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department said today.
The Secretary of the Rajya Sainik Board has been renamed as Director of Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department, he said.
At the district level, Zila Sainik Board has been rechristened as District Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department and the secretary, Zila Sainik Board as District Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Officer, the spokesperson said.
