Har govt to give Rs 31,000 to sportswomen for marriages

Haryana government today said it has decided to give Rs 31,000 to sportswomen for their marriages.
Under the 'Mukhyamantri Vivah Shagun Yojana,' Haryana government has decided to give "Rs 31,000 to all deserving sportswomen for their marriages," said an official spokesman of the Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Department.
Besides, the government has decided to give Rs 11,000 as 'Kanyadan' in case of group marriages of girls.
Under the scheme, the amount of incentive for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (Below Poverty Line) families, widows, divorced, destitute women or orphan and destitute children has been increased from Rs 31,000 to Rs 41,000.
In case the deficiencies are not removed within the
prescribed period, the claim would be filed by the competent authority under intimation to the party through email.

The enterprise would not be required to submit any additional document other than specified, without approval of competent authority.
The claim application so filed may be reopened with the orders of Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce, provided that request for the same is received within 30 days from the date of rejection of the claim by the designated competent authority.
He said an enterprise would forfeit the entitlement for the reimbursement of the cost in technology acquisition, if it does not submit its claim, complete in all respects, within three months from the date of technology acquisition.
The Director, Industries and Commerce, would be the competent authority for sanction of the subsidy within 30 days from the date of completion of the claim.
Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce, would be competent to make interpretation or relaxation of the provisions of this scheme.
Appeal against an order passed by the competent authority would lie with the Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce, within 30 days from the date of communication of the order appealed against.
He said that the order passed by the Principal Secretary in appeal would be final.
If it is found that assistance from the Government has been availed on the basis of any false information, the applicant would, besides refunding assistance with compound rate of interest at 12 per cent per annum and facing legal action, be debarred from grant of any incentives or assistance from the State Government.
