Also, Adi Badri, near Lohgarh, would be developed as a tourist destination at a cost of Rs 15.26 crore, he said while speaking at a state-level programme organised to mark 300th martyrdom year of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur in Lohgarh, he was quoted as saying by an official release.
Khattar announced that keeping in view the spiritual and archaeological significance of Adi Badri, it would be developed as a tourist destination.
A three-km road connecting Adi Badri, the point of origin of the mythical Saraswati river, with Lohgarh would be constructed.
Besides, a dam would also be constructed to ensure year-round supply of water to Lohgarh.
