Bhupendri Mehlawat is currently undergoing treatment at Fortis Hospital and her condition is critical, the police said.
The woman's son Deepanshu told police that after his father died three years ago, Bhupendri was allegedly being harassed by her three sisters-in-law for property and money.
Deepanshu tried to save her but before he could do anything, she jumped off yesterday evening at 5.30 PM. The incident has left the lower part of her body paralysed.
The police have lodged a case under section 498A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty), the maximum punishment for which is an imprisonment of three years, at the Vasant Kunj (North) police station.
