Police said the couple surrendered as they wanted to join the mainstream.
"The couple was disappointed over the atrocities on women and the way the tribal girls were forced to join the dalams. They also told the police that the Naxals deliberately created obstacles in the development in remote areas for selfish motives," he said.
The couple surrendered as part of the surrender and rehabilitation policy of the state government and the police, officials said.
